Health Center Physician - Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialue - Kerava, Finland

Two (2) health center physician positions are open at the Kerava health station, where there is an opportunity to perform health center physician work diversely. Work starts on September 1, 2026, or by agreement. In addition to appointment and urgent care, the job description includes, according to your wishes and expertise, the work of a guide or trainer, maternity and child health clinic, student and school health care or other VAKE sector work. Work is done multidisciplinarily as teamwork, and each health center physician also acts as the own doctor for their own patients, striving for good continuity of care. The health station is open on weekdays from 8 to 16. Our salary is competitive and takes into account the content of the task, work experience according to the career ladder model and special expertise. We are looking for a general medicine specialist or a specializing physician licensed in Finland who is enthusiastic about their work and the development of their work. We value previous work experience from a medical field suitable for a health center and versatile general practitioner skills, good community and interaction skills, perseverance and commitment to the work community and employer, as well as interest in developing their own work. A prerequisite for the work is excellent written and oral Finnish language skills. Specialist physician trainer or near-guide rights are also seen as an advantage. Kerava health station is a comfortably sized and versatile work unit with a good working atmosphere and strong support from the work community. We invest in orientation, development of operations, further training of doctors and occupational well-being. Physician positions and nurse positions are currently full. Work is done strongly collectively and multidisciplinarily striving for good continuity of care, and our welfare area's health stations operate with a self-team and own-doctor model. Help and consultation support are always available, external training is encouraged and internal training and guidance are organized weekly. VAKE is also a member of the AkaTK community, and we encourage research work related to the primary health care operating environment. Public transport connections and parking facilities are good. Task-specific salary: 5,826.10 eur/month, plus possible addition based on previous work experience. Terms of service are determined according to the Official and Collective Agreement for Physicians (LS).
