Counselor, Mental Health Rehabilitation - Kotilo ry - Savonlinna, Finland

Kotilo ry is an association based in Savonlinna providing mental health rehabilitation and housing services. Our units are located in central Savonlinna with good transportation connections. We are seeking a versatile counselor who, in addition to rehabilitation work, can also handle small property maintenance tasks, for which separate working hours are allocated. The counselor's duties include daily rehabilitation, well-being, and health care for mental health rehabilitants. The work is diverse and involves two-shift work, including medication administration. We require the applicant to have training as a practical nurse, nurse, or social worker. Studies focused on mental health and addiction issues and related work experience are considered an advantage. Property maintenance tasks include monitoring the condition of the property and systems, as well as minor repairs and maintenance. The position requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a health status report regarding respiratory tuberculosis as per section 55.
