Test Automation Specialist - Poolia IT - Helsinki, Finland

We are looking for experienced software developers to join a large and long-term public administration development project. The role is especially suitable for freelancers and subcontractors operating through their own company. This is a very large, multi-year project involving the building and maintenance of critical digital services and data warehouse solutions. Projects are implemented agilely with modern technology stacks. Role As a software developer, you will participate in the design, development, and maintenance of extensive system and service entities as part of multi-skilled teams. Modern software development practices, continuous deployment, and cloud-based development environments are utilized. Responsibilities include: - Testing new services and solutions - Testing integrations and data warehouse solutions - Participating in agile development teams - Utilizing continuous deployment and DevOps practices - Collaborating with various stakeholders and experts Requirements - Experience in manual, regression, integration, and performance testing - Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) - Experience with testing automation tools and frameworks (Robot Framework, Playwright) - Experience in improving testing quality (e.g., root cause analysis, test coverage, pass rate, quality metrics) - Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#) - Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines - Experience with agile methods (Scrum) - Fluent Finnish language skills We offer - A long-term and stable project (possibly several years) - The opportunity to work fully remotely in Finland - Modern technologies and extensive development entities - The possibility to work as a freelancer or through your own company invoicing - Competitive compensation - The opportunity to participate in significant societal development projects Interested?
