Vuorenmäki Daycare Center has 9 children's groups. Your work will be supported by a broad team of early childhood education professionals in Kirkkonummi: the center’s own special education teacher, early childhood education curators, psychologists, language and culture teachers, as well as a digital coordinator and other experts. As a social worker, you will work as a responsible educator in a children's group. Together with your team, you will build a high-quality early childhood education and preschool culture and learning environment. Your special expertise will bring community, social, and pedagogical perspectives to the educational work. You will also be responsible for part of the multidisciplinary cooperation with the wellbeing services county. We expect you to have strong cooperation skills and a desire to work communally and constructively. Salary and employment conditions are determined according to the municipal collective agreement (KVTES). The position is subject to a six-month probation period. Qualifications: Qualification as an early childhood education social worker according to the Early Childhood Education Act 27§ (540/2018). New early childhood education social workers will receive a recruitment bonus of 150 € per month for 12 months after the end of a six-month probation period. The bonus is conditional on a permanent employment relationship and meeting qualification requirements. The selected candidate must present a criminal background check within 30 days of the employment decision (Child Welfare Act 504/2002). The position also requires a health statement regarding respiratory tuberculosis according to the Infectious Diseases Act 55 §. Kirkkonummi municipality is a smoke-free workplace. Vuorenmäki Daycare Center is located in Veikkola’s center and is part of the Vuorenmäki Learning Center.
