Job Description
We are seeking a childcare assistant in early childhood education part-time for the preschool group at Rudolf Steiner School in Helsinki, for a continuous employment starting Monday, August 10, 2026. The working hours in the group are 5 hours per day (12-17). The workplace is located at Pargasvägen 3 (Brunakärr). You will work as part of a larger enthusiastic preschool team. The preschool at Rudolf Steiner School in Helsinki consists of three groups, two of which are Finnish-speaking and one Swedish-speaking. There are approximately 10 employees in total. Our preschool follows the school’s working and holiday schedule. During school holidays, you have vacation, and some staff members have the opportunity to continue working until Midsummer. Knowledge of Swedish is required; knowledge of Finnish is an advantage. Studies in Steiner pedagogy or experience working in a Steiner kindergarten are advantageous. Qualification as a childcare assistant according to the Act on Early Childhood Education.
