Analytics Engineer, Vantaa - Finavia Oyj - Remote - Global

Finavia, leading and developing 20 airports in Finland, seeks an Analytics Engineer to enhance data and analytics capabilities. The role involves modeling, refining, and utilizing critical analytics and reporting data, supporting strategic and operational decision-making by producing consistent, reliable, and business-oriented information and metrics across Finavia's operations. Responsibilities include logical and physical data modeling, developing data structures on Snowflake, implementing reporting and analytics solutions, translating business requirements into analytics solutions, developing data modeling and reporting principles, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance, participating in projects, monitoring technological developments, and collaborating with data and analytics partners. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in analytics data modeling, SQL expertise, Snowflake platform experience, Data Vault architecture knowledge, practical Power BI development skills, and a good understanding of modern data and analytics architecture, data management, and security requirements. A relevant higher education degree, several years of relevant work experience, and proficiency in Finnish and English are required. The candidate should be customer-oriented, responsible, innovative, communicative, collaborative, and positive. The role involves a basic security clearance and drug test.
