We are looking for 2 energetic care assistants for wage-subsidized employment at Madetoja service home, group home Sinikaisla, Naavatupa and Viljankukka. Work is mainly done on weekdays. Madetoja service home is located in Pukinmäki, with good transport connections. The main focus of the tasks is the laundry maintenance and kitchen chores of all units. As a care assistant, you also have the opportunity to be involved in the everyday life of our residents. In addition, the tasks may include taking care of the residents' outdoor activities, accompanying them to various events and other similar assisting tasks. Group home Sinikaisla is home to 32 residents with memory diseases, Naavatupa to 30 residents with memory diseases on two floors and Viljankukka is home to 13 psychogeriatric residents. The start of work is according to the wage subsidy decision, the duration of work is 7 months. In addition, we require: You are an unemployed job seeker from Helsinki and meet one of the following conditions: - you are 15-24 years old - you have reached 50 years of age - you have not completed a matriculation examination, a degree referred to in the Act on Vocational Education or an equivalent foreign secondary education degree - you are entitled to an integration plan referred to in the Act on the Promotion of Integration - you have not been in gainful employment during the previous six months - as an unemployed job seeker, your chances of getting a suitable job have significantly decreased due to injury or illness. At least three years must have passed since the end of the previous wage-subsidized employment at the City of Helsinki before you can be employed again with a wage subsidy for the city.
