Job Description
We are looking for a Product Manager at Helsinki Mylly. Helsinki Mylly Oy is a Finnish family business with over 90 years of history, producing high-quality grain products for consumers, professionals, and the food industry both domestically and for export. The Mylly family product range includes options for daily meals, available as organic and gluten-free. The company employs about 100 professionals at factories in Järvenpää, Närpiö, and Vaasa. Would you like to be part of building Finnish food culture as part of a respected and growing food industry company? At Helsinki Mylly, you will work in a role that combines responsibility, collaboration, and genuine opportunities to influence. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of product information, packaging solutions, and related processes. You will play an important role bridging different teams and work closely with production, procurement, quality, product development, sales, and marketing. Your tasks include ensuring that product data, packaging labels, and documentation are up-to-date and compliant with customer requirements and food legislation. You will also be involved in developing product lifecycle, processes, and operational practices together with the organization. We hope you have a higher education degree in food industry or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in similar roles within the food or fast-moving consumer goods industry. Experience in managing product data and basic information in various information systems, knowledge of food industry processes, and understanding of product lifecycle are required. The role emphasizes efficient data management, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to change. We value meticulous and systematic work, but also enjoy working in a dynamic environment where tasks are carried forward collaboratively. Success in this role requires good collaboration and communication skills, a development-oriented attitude, and the ability to utilize data for decision-making. Fluency in Finnish and English is required. We offer a versatile and responsible position in a domestic food company that values expertise and genuine collaboration. You will receive thorough onboarding and support from colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to influence product, data, and operational development in a long-term partnership with an experienced team. Your workplace is located in Järvenpää, with the possibility of hybrid work. The company offers comprehensive occupational health services and employee benefits including lunch, sports, cultural, and massage benefits. Salary is based on your skills and experience, approximately €4000–5200/month. You will work in a pleasant environment that emphasizes the culture of caring and doing typical of a family business. The position begins on September 1, 2026, or by agreement. Interested? Great! Please fill out the application form through the system and attach your CV with salary expectations no later than June 7, 2026. For security reasons, we do not accept or process applications via email or other channels. Act quickly, as we will start reviewing applications during the application period.
