Job Description
Do you want to make a difference in children's daily lives and develop the future of early childhood education? Kyrkslätt municipality is now seeking a dedicated and qualified language and culture teacher in early childhood education. In this versatile and meaningful role, you will have the opportunity to actively develop a linguistically and culturally responsible approach within early childhood education. The work is based on the principles of the early childhood education plan and the curriculum for preschool education, with inclusion as a fundamental aspect. You will help create a safe, equal, and stimulating learning environment for all children. As a teacher in language and culture groups, you work both as part of the children's group and as an educational resource in a peer-teaching partnership that is not included in the student-teacher ratio. Your task is to strengthen multilingualism, children's identity development, and equal learning opportunities, respecting each child's unique language and cultural background. You will become part of a strong professional network and receive support from a broad group of experts in early childhood education in Kyrkslätt, including the team for support for growth and learning, the team for language and culture groups, preschool directors, and other experienced specialists. We value your commitment to pedagogical development, as well as your experience with peer-teaching, team training, and consultancy work.
