Job Description
We are looking for a Global Engineering Manager within the Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service (GPQSS) team at Hitachi Energy. The role involves ensuring compliance with global standards, driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and managing engineering performance across multiple geographies. Responsibilities include mentoring engineering leaders, developing standards and digital initiatives, monitoring KPIs, and supporting strategic growth. The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering, over 15 years of energy sector experience, and at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in multinational environments, knowledge of energy systems, grid infrastructure, renewable tech, and standards like IEC, IEEE, ISO, and ANSI are required.
