We are looking for an experienced and skilled cook for a permanent position at Ståhlberg Cafés. A new restaurant will open in August 2026 in the Tulli district of Tampere. As a cook, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the lunch restaurant's kitchen and the preparation of high-quality food. You are an important part of the team and ensure that dishes are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. Working hours are approximately 90–112.5 hours per 3 weeks, depending on availability to work in other units in the Tampere area. Work tasks include preparation of buffet lunch food, managing daily kitchen operations, handling raw materials and pre-preparations, ensuring hygiene and occupational safety, waste management, participating in menu planning, and operational development. The restaurant is open every day, mainly daytime work, with occasional evening shifts. We expect several years of experience in cooking, a solution-oriented and responsible attitude, ability to work independently and in a team, good organizational and communication skills, a hygiene passport, and fluent Finnish skills.
