Home care is provided either in the client's home or through remote visits, tailored individually according to the client's needs and a service and care plan. Through home care services, we support the client's own resources and functional capacity in a multidisciplinary manner, enabling high-quality, safe, and meaningful living at home. The clients are mainly elderly individuals whose health requires special attention and multidisciplinary care. Personal care assistants are part of a multidisciplinary team where everyone's contribution is valued. Team members and the immediate supervisor support you in adapting to the new work community. As a personal care assistant, your role involves guiding and assisting with basic care, supporting daily activities with a rehabilitative approach that encourages the client's own resources. You act as the client's own nurse, perform RAI assessments, and evaluate the client's functional capacity together with the team. The work also includes meeting elderly clients, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, and organizing support services in collaboration with the team when needed. WHAT DOES WORK REQUIRE FROM YOU? - A qualification in personal care work or a similar previous qualification, and registration with JulkiTerhikki and/or JulkiSuosikki (Licensing and Supervision Authority). - A driving license and the possibility to use your own car. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract related to working with the elderly, as required by law 741/2023, before starting the job.
