We are looking for a practical nurse for the Kipinä residential unit for services for people with disabilities, on a permanent basis. Kipinä provides housing services for individuals with significant support needs, including those with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. In our work, it is important to support residents in discovering and utilizing their own resources. We promote residents' independence and social interaction with individual methods. In the residential units, speech-supporting and alternative communication methods are used. Employees work in residents' homes respecting their right to self-determination. We aim to enable residents to have an equal, individual, and choice-respecting everyday life. As a practical nurse, you participate in basic care, well-being, and guidance in all daily activities. Additionally, you will be involved in medication administration as licensed. We value experience and knowledge related to developmental disabilities and autism, and working with neuropsychiatric clients, but it is not mandatory. We will provide orientation.
