We are seeking approximately 40 restaurant workers for Kilpilahti industrial area during Sodexo's maintenance shutdown in autumn 2026. The role offers a dynamic and meaningful environment where restaurant services are a key part of the success of the entire shutdown. Kilpilahti is one of the most significant industrial areas in the Nordic countries, with thousands of professionals working on site during the maintenance period. Sodexo, one of the leading food and facility service companies in the Nordic region, is responsible for food services. During the Kilpilahti shutdown, Sodexo ensures that dining and customer service operate safely, efficiently, and with high quality throughout the project. Up to 2000 lunches are served daily, making the work energetic, planned, and based on strong teamwork. What does a restaurant worker do during the shutdown? As a restaurant worker, you will be part of a large service team in a restaurant and tent environment. Main responsibilities: - Cash register work - Customer service and line work - Selling and presenting café products - Maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant hall - Ensuring smooth customer flow during busy times This is active service work, not standing still; quickness, accuracy, and teamwork are essential. Working hours and project duration: - Estimated start: September 2026 - Begins slightly before the shutdown and continues shortly after - Shift work 24/7 - Overtime opportunities Training will be provided before work begins. We expect from you: - Energetic and proactive work attitude - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Good customer service attitude - Carefulness and responsibility - Commitment to safety instructions - Fluent Finnish language skills are considered an advantage. Good English skills are also sufficient. - Hygiene pass Previous experience in restaurant, café, or cashier work is an advantage, but the right attitude is most important. Safety first: Safety is of utmost importance at Kilpilahti. The area includes breathalyzer tests and strict safety monitoring. - Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory - A safety card is required for the area.
