Senior electrical engineer

Insta Industry is seeking an experienced electrical designer for power distribution projects. You will work on meaningful and challenging electrical distribution solutions, contributing to projects from concept to commissioning, including 110 kV substations, main and distribution transformers, medium-voltage switchgear, protection and DC systems, network calculations and simulations, and customer consulting. You can start in secondary design and expand to primary design, potentially advancing to a lead designer role in collaboration with a project manager who handles the organizational aspects. You will participate in electrical substation design projects from start to finish, and may supervise subcontractors from a technical perspective in related areas such as earthworks or steel design. You may take responsibility with clients, provide technical support to project managers, and mentor colleagues; you can shape your role according to your wishes and influence work methods and business development. You may sit at Insta Industry offices in several cities (e.g., Tampere, Pori, Kuopio, Vantaa, Vaasa, and others); flexible remote work is possible. Projects are conducted across offices and you’ll receive support and lunch companionship from your local team and other experienced installers. You may participate in commissioning visits to ensure correct operation of systems. Salary discussions reflect your prior expertise. The role is full-time and permanent.
