Your tasks Tyks is responsible for gynecological specialized care in the region of Southwest Finland. A multidisciplinary team, including IVF biologists, laboratory nurses, nurses specialized in infertility treatment, and specialist doctors, handles infertility care. The duties of an IVF biologist include, among others, handling gametes and executing the laboratory part of fertilization treatments in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements, together with other laboratory staff, as well as developing the fertility laboratory's operations. The IVF biologist must be capable of managing responsibilities related to laboratory monitoring and follow-up, as well as preparing necessary reports for authorities. What we expect from you The qualification requirement for the position is a suitable higher university degree. Successful performance in the role requires experience in fertility treatments and broad knowledge of the causes of infertility, treatment methods, and the operation of a fertility laboratory. Additionally, good oral and written skills in Finnish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Swedish are required.
