Technical Customer Service Representative, Teca Oy, Vantaa - Academic Work

As a Technical Customer Service Representative, you will work on diverse tasks as part of the company's customer service team. Your typical workday includes receiving inquiries and calls from both new and existing customers in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, and helping them find the best solutions from the office. Your responsibilities include responding to requests for quotes, designing and preparing offers, entering orders into the system, managing them, and tracking delivery times. You will provide technical consulting and professional customer service. Technical product managers are located close to your team, so support and assistance for your development are always available. Previous experience in the field is not necessarily required, but experience in manufacturing or familiarity with machinery can help you understand the role quickly. The position is suitable for someone in the final stages of their studies or a recent graduate in engineering. Our client operates a hybrid model, allowing you to work remotely a few days a week if desired. However, the first few months should be worked entirely on-site. Work Tasks include responding to customer calls and emails, serving both existing and potential new customers, providing technical consulting and finding solutions, responding to requests for quotes, designing and preparing offers, managing orders and tracking delivery times, communicating with customers and suppliers. We are looking for at least vocational technical education or ongoing studies (e.g., mechanical engineer, automation engineer, etc.), good basic IT skills and proficiency in MS Office, fluent Finnish and good English skills, understanding of technical equipment. Additional advantages include knowledge of machinery, previous work experience in an industrial environment such as internships or summer jobs, and familiarity with industry terminology.
