Automation Engineer - Oy Linde Gas Ab

As an Automation Engineer you will maintain and troubleshoot industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and other automation technology. You will perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. Additionally, you will diagnose and repair different kind of systems while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime through automation projects. The role requires you to manage and update documentation such as schematics, manuals, and drawings related to automation systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements within production systems. You will also operate in a hands-on resource as an automation engineer during part of the working day. To succeed in this position, you would hold a degree in Automation Technology, Information Technology, or from a related technical field. You bring 5+ years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial control systems or information technology systems in manufacturing or production environments. You demonstrate proficiency in PLC programming or equivalent and troubleshooting and you possess knowledge of electrical systems, programming languages, and experience working with robotic systems. For this position you must have strong verbal and written communication skills in both Finnish and English while thriving in collaborative team settings.
