Field Engineer, Networks and Security - Elisa Oyj - Remote - Global

Networks & Security is responsible for Elisa's corporate customers' secure and reliable network solutions, covering both data connections and cybersecurity. The unit enables clients' business continuity and development with modern, scalable network and security solutions. We are now recruiting a telecommunications expert for the Pirkanmaa region to join Elisa's Networks and Security -unit's Field Operations team. In this role, you will perform design, installation, and maintenance tasks for Elisaa's corporate WAN and LAN networks on-site. Your tasks include planning activities such as surveying LAN networks in properties, designing device placement for network switches and WLAN access points, as well as installation and maintenance tasks like operating WAN and LAN equipment and installing and maintaining corporate connections. This is an excellent opportunity to work on interesting and challenging tasks with the latest corporate network solutions mainly in the Pirkanmaa area. As part of the team, we ensure the high-quality delivery of Elisa's planning, installation, and maintenance services, and you will be a member of a knowledgeable and professional team. You will also work closely with installation partners, supporting their work. We value an active approach and the ability to work independently. Customer service orientation and teamwork are essential, as we treat customers as part of the team. To succeed, you need experience in network installation and maintenance tasks, knowledge of network switches, firewalls, and routers (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications, Aruba, Fortinet, or equivalent certifications from other manufacturers), general/fiber optic network and WAN/LAN knowledge, suitable technical education (vocational or university level), customer service skills, and fluency in Finnish and English. Additional assets include independent work attitude, problem-solving skills, consultative working style, experience with large clients, and a proactive approach.
