Social Worker, Child Protection Outpatient, Myyrmäki Office - Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialue - Vantaa, Finland

We are looking for a social worker for child protection outpatient services at the Myyrmäki office starting from September 1, 2026, or as agreed. The office is located near the train station with good transportation links and some free parking nearby. The role involves working with children, families, and their networks using a planned, relationship-based, and systemic approach to ensure the child's best interests. The work is diverse, challenging, and demanding but also rewarding and inspiring. We value customer-oriented and development-minded working methods, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and solution-oriented. Finnish language skills are essential, and experience with child protection social work and the Apotti system is a plus. We offer a supportive work environment with group supervision, weekly team meetings, and accessible support from colleagues and supervisors. The Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing area has seven regional teams, working as one outpatient service across the area. The Myyrmäki office has three teams with social workers, a special social counselor or social counselor, and a leading social worker. The team also includes a family therapist and secretary. We work in 1-2 person offices. The position is permanent, starting on September 1, 2026, with a full-time contract, 37 hours and 45 minutes per week. The salary is 4612.50 euros/month plus possible experience-based supplement.
