Job Description
You will work in a hotel restaurant, with shifts that vary: Preparing and presenting breakfast buffets, preparing and presenting lunch buffets, pre-preparation and cooking of A La Carte dinner. The food is Finnish-inspired, and menus rotate weekly. The work is full-time (112.5 hours / 3 weeks) and seasonal fixed-term employment. The work begins around November and continues until Easter. We hope you have previous experience working as a chef; you do not need years of experience, but it is not possible to start directly from school. The practical requirements are: Work experience in a lunch restaurant and/or A La Carte restaurant, a strong work ethic, fluent Finnish language skills, readiness for shift work and weekend work. Previous experience in Lapland seasonal jobs is considered an advantage but is not mandatory. A full-time seasonal job in the beautiful scenery of Ylläs as part of a professional team. The hourly wage is agreed based on skills and is approximately €15-18/hour. Other employment terms are based on the MaRa collective agreement. The client company offers a private room a couple of kilometers from the workplace. Additionally, seasonal workers receive staff discounts on all hotel services. Send your application soon!
