Job Description
LUT University is seeking a grant writer whose work will focus on competitive research funding and collaboration, particularly in areas related to digital health, preventive well-being, and adaptive resilience. The position involves identifying funding opportunities, developing project concepts, and maintaining close dialogue with researchers and partners. The role supports researchers in structuring project ideas, articulating impact, and positioning proposals clearly within an international funding environment. The work includes project preparation from early-stage ideation to final submission, bridging research and funding, and supporting proposals aligned with evaluation criteria and program priorities. Funding sources include national and international, especially EU programmes like Horizon Europe and EU4Health. The position is based in Lahti or Lappeenranta, Finland, with a hybrid work model. It is full-time, permanent, with a starting salary of approximately €3,900–4,300 per month, and begins with a six-month trial period.
