Corporate Counsel and Data Protection Officer in a key role supporting our business, responsible for data protection in Finland, and involved in projects related to technology and new operational models. The role offers the opportunity to influence practical solutions in an international environment and collaborate closely with local and group colleagues. The position is permanent and full-time, with work locations in Vaasa, Tampere, or Helsinki. Responsibilities include drafting, evaluating, and negotiating contracts, providing legal support, monitoring legislation, and training staff. As Data Protection Officer, you will handle data protection expertise, advise staff on personal data processing, develop data protection practices, and support projects involving technology, data, and AI, where legal understanding is crucial. Requirements include a higher university degree in law, experience with data protection legislation, ability to interpret regulations, fluency in Finnish and English, and independent work and collaboration skills. Knowledge of debt collection is a plus. We offer a versatile legal role in an international group, with responsibility, influence, and supportive colleagues in Finland and group-wide.
