Saimaan ammattiopisto Sampo is seeking a cook for a permanent position at the Lappeenranta campus starting from 3.8.2026. We are looking for someone who enjoys preparing food in a large kitchen. You are proactive, have a positive attitude, are eager to learn new things, develop yourself and your work environment, and understand the responsibility involved in food preparation. You handle changing situations well and possess good interaction and teamwork skills. As a cook, you will work in various tasks within a large kitchen. Responsibilities include preparing food and special diets, self-monitoring, dishwashing tasks, customer service, salad preparation, and, if necessary, cashier duties. Previous experience in a large kitchen, expertise in special diets, the ability to guide students in kitchen work, and good computer skills are valued. Before confirmation of employment, the selected candidate must present an acceptable criminal record extract according to law 504/2002 and a medical certificate of health.
