Warehouse Worker for Food Industry - Henkilöstöliiga Turku Oy - Turku, Finland

We are looking for a Warehouse Worker for our client in the food industry. What does the job involve and how? Do you want a job where the days go by quickly, your hands are busy, and you see the results of your work immediately? Your varied tasks include receiving goods, loading, pallet moving, picking, and shelf-stocking. In addition to the warm warehouse, the work site also includes a freezer storage, so you need to be able to work in cooler environments if necessary. This is not the typical summer job in the heat, but dressing warmly makes it quite manageable, and sometimes it can even feel refreshing. You will use counterbalance, reach truck, and picking trucks. The job also involves manual tasks and some physically demanding work. Work is performed on weekdays, mainly in the evening shift from 14:00 to 22:00. Weekends are free, leaving time for personal activities and summer events. The workplace is easily accessible by public transport, so commuting is not an issue. The work starts as soon as possible according to agreement. We also hope you are available after the summer months. Requirements: You need a valid hygiene passport and salmonella certificate before starting work. You must be of legal age and able to work in Finnish. We prefer candidates with previous experience in warehousing or picking tasks and who can operate a forklift. Comprehensive training will be provided. You will succeed best if you are quick, proactive, and in good physical condition. A positive attitude and being a good team player are also important. We offer: An interesting job in food logistics.
