Tuva Teacher for Compulsory Education Group - Lounais-Suomen koulutuskuntayhtymä - Uusikaupunki, Finland

We are seeking a skilled teacher for preparatory education (tuva) at our Uusikaupunki location. Teacher: Will be responsible for a tuva class of young people coming from basic education. Participates in planning, organizing, and developing teaching and educational arrangements with subject teachers regarding students' study paths. Contributes to building and implementing individual study paths for students. The law on education for persons working with children (504/2002) requires that the person appointed to the position must present a criminal record extract as specified in the Criminal Records Act /505/2002, section 6, paragraph 2, before taking up the position. The teaching provided under TUVA law can be given by a person with qualifications as a class teacher, subject teacher, guidance counselor, or special education teacher in basic education (excluding subject teachers referred to in section 5 a). Qualifications also include those of a subject teacher, guidance counselor, or special education teacher in upper secondary education, or a teacher of vocational or common modules of vocational education. The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
