Earthworks Worker - WorkPower Rakennus Polaris Oy

Hello, you professional in the earthworks sector! We are looking for earthworks workers for versatile sites in the Jyväskylä and Central Finland area. The work is on a gig basis, so tasks and sites vary depending on our clients' projects. Possible tasks include: installation and maintenance of wells and sewer pipes, operating as a backhoe operator, plastic welding, working in water construction, driving a wheel loader; transporting soil and materials, compacting soil with a compactor and using a laser level, installing styrofoam in foundations and other structures, excavating with a shovel. Applicants with previous experience in similar tasks or in earthworks are considered an advantage. Experience in plastic welding or water construction is especially beneficial. We also value proactive, eager-to-learn, and motivated individuals, even if they lack previous earthworks experience. The job requires being of legal age and holding a valid safety and security card (Työturvallisuus- ja Tieturva 1-kortti). If your security card has expired or is missing, you can complete it online for free. Experience with laser levels is a plus. Having your own car is considered an advantage, as it facilitates commuting. Success in this role requires good teamwork skills and the ability to adapt to various tasks. Some tasks are physically demanding, so good physical condition is also beneficial. We offer the opportunity to work on diverse projects and get to know different sites! All employees are paid at least the industry-standard wage for the infrastructure sector, generally around €13.59 - €15.71 per hour, depending on your experience.
