Substitute Teacher for Preparatory Education / Onkilahden Comprehensive School - Vaasan kaupunki - Vaasa, Finland

The Finnish-language basic education of the City of Vaasa is seeking a substitute teacher for preparatory education at Onkilahden Comprehensive School from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The teaching will focus on students in grades 1-2 in the preparatory class. Onkilahden Comprehensive School is a grades 1-9 school operating in multiple buildings. The school has approximately 760 students, about 250 of whom are in the lower grades. The school is multicultural. The school also hosts the city's music classes and sports classes based on the national activities of the Olympic Academy for grades 7-9. The position requires qualification according to regulation 986/1998. Language proficiency in Finnish must be excellent in both spoken and written forms. We require a qualified basic education teacher. The duties include teaching in grades 7-9.
