A fixed-term, part-time position in preschool care. The role requires compliance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) and the necessary qualifications for a child day care worker. We value development-focused and sensitive working methods, strong interaction and collaboration skills with children, guardians, and colleagues. Our operations are guided by the Early Childhood Education Act, the National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education, and local plans. The selected candidate will work to continuously develop and learn together. In 2026, development priorities include linguistic awareness and Finnish as a second language (S2) competence, digital skills and pedagogical use of technology, and activities aligned with motion-based early childhood education. A criminal record extract must be provided in accordance with Act 504/2002; tuberculosis exposure risk assessment is required for those working with under-6s, using the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare questionnaire and interpretation guide. Salary and terms are determined according to KVTES; pay grade 5VKA54A1, step pay 40% / 2606.80 EUR/month (1042.72 EUR/month) with possible experience allowance. A one-month trial period applies.
