We are currently looking for a practical nurse for a fixed-term contract. The position is until 30.8.2026 and starts as soon as possible. Welcome to Rinnekodit Maininki! Maininki is located in Pateniemi, Oulu, in a peaceful residential area. It is home to 20 adults with developmental disabilities. Our clients' functional capacity and support needs vary from guidance to care. Some clients exhibit challenging behavior requiring strong support in daily life. The unit operates in a single-story building completed in 2017. The unit's own daytime activity space is within walking distance. We have good transport connections by bus, car, or bicycle! As a practical nurse, you play a key role in identifying individual needs and ensuring quality care. You work professionally, respecting the client's autonomy and treating them with respect. Your work includes basic care, medication, and guidance with a rehabilitative approach. You also support clients physically in daily activities. We offer good orientation and various training to ensure smooth work. We expect from you: a practical nurse qualification and registration with the Suosikki register or final stage studies, readiness for three-shift work, basic Finnish language skills for documentation and client interaction. Rinnekodit is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace, where employment health check includes a vaccination review according to infectious disease law. We check criminal record extracts from the person selected for the position, in accordance with legislation (the Act on Social and Health Care Supervision).
