The municipality of Kittilä is hiring a fixed-term class teacher for Lukkarin School from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. We are looking for an enthusiastic and development-oriented teacher to join our team. We are seeking someone interested in developing the school and teaching. You should work flexibly, adapt positively to changes, and possess good cooperation and interaction skills. Skills in teaching physical education and the ability to promote activity-based learning solutions during lessons are considered an advantage. The successful candidate must hold a qualification as a class teacher. The work may include S2 instruction for other groups, so readiness to teach Finnish as a second language is an advantage. The role also involves diverse collaboration with students, guardians, and staff. Candidates invited for an interview must present proof of qualification. The qualification for teaching staff is defined by regulation 1998/986. Before starting the position, applicants must provide a criminal record extract as per section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act.
