Job Description
Nano is a company that acts as a service provider for the cities of Helsinki and Vanda. Nano organizes after-school club activities for school children in grades one and two. Nano operates after-school activities in fourteen schools. We are looking for a leader for the after-school activities for students in the Minerva School group. The responsible leader will serve as the leader for a 5-person work team. The most important skills for this job are excellent interaction skills, good organizational skills, and strong experience in leading children's groups. Experience working with children with special needs is also considered an advantage. The responsible leader is responsible for the daily operations of the after-school club. Their work is to motivate and help team members achieve the best possible results in their work. The responsible leader must have experience leading children's groups to be able to assist other team members in their work when needed. The club's activities are planned in cooperation with Nano's regional manager and other team members. The responsible leader's duties also include planning and maintaining good cooperation with guardians and school staff. Nano's after-school club activities are well-planned and clear. Our goal is for children to feel comfortable in our clubs, engage in meaningful activities, and experience our instructors as secure adults. After-school club activities are organized in groups, and therefore the work requires good group leadership skills. The club day consists of outdoor activities, snacks, homework, and various hobbies. Every day we organize several hobby activities that children can participate in, such as dance, crafts, etc. The after-school activities are open from 12:00 to 17:00. The responsible leader's working hours are always between 11:00-17:00, and the number of working hours per week is 30. The work begins on 10.8.2026.
