Job Description
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing the electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems of our industrial thermal energy storage solution. Your work will focus especially on low-voltage electrical systems design and defining electrical and automation packages. A significant part of your work will involve designing the power supply for a high-capacity charging unit, 1-5MW. You will be responsible for the technical specification of devices and will work closely with suppliers, design partners, and project teams during procurement. In the first few months, you will primarily focus on designing and sizing electrical systems, but later you will also participate in prototype development, validation, pilot plant development, and supervision of installations and commissioning. You will also ensure that solutions meet electrical and automation safety and reliability requirements throughout the product lifecycle and provide technical support in customer projects. You will work closely with TheStorage’s technology and product development teams. Your colleagues will include, among others, the CTO, mechanical designers, and future project organization specialists. This role offers the opportunity to influence how the product and operational practices are shaped as the company grows.
