We are now looking for a practical nurse for a fixed-term position in a new care home unit. A new 32-place care home unit opened in the Kivistö area for the Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing area in June. The unit will move entirely to the Tikkurila Elderly Center, which will be completed in 2027. The Tikkurila Elderly Center will be a large new care home complex with a total of 146 resident places. As a practical nurse, you are an important person in our team and in the daily lives of our residents. The job description in the care home service area includes taking holistic care of residents' basic needs. You will act as a responsible nurse, take care of medication, and assist our residents in their daily activities using a functional-capacity-promoting approach. Cooperation with relatives and loved ones is a central and important part of our everyday life. The work of a practical nurse is 3-shift work. Our work communities are diverse and we will help you familiarize yourself with the daily routine of the unit. You will also get to develop the new care home unit with us. It is important to us that all our employees have the opportunity to influence the daily routine of the unit and the development of the operations of the entire care home service area. We value previous experience working with the elderly and a genuine interest in developing elderly care. We require valid medication permits and Apotti skills. RAI skills are considered an advantage. Kivistö's new 32-place care home unit provides round-the-clock care and treatment for elderly clients. The unit will move entirely to the Tikkurila Elderly Center, which will be completed in 2027. The unit employs a near-manager, an assistant ward manager, a physiotherapist, practical nurses, and care assistants. You have a great opportunity to become part of a new, diverse work community.
