Fixed-term positions for early childhood education teachers - Nokian kaupunki - Nokia, Finland

We are seeking three (3) early childhood education teachers to support the overall development, learning, and well-being of children. The positions are filled on a fixed-term basis starting from August 3. As an early childhood education teacher, you will work as an expert in pedagogy within a child group and be responsible for planning, assessing, and developing the group's pedagogy. In Nokia, you will implement the support needed by children in accordance with inclusive principles together with other staff. Typically, two early childhood education teachers work in our child groups. You will plan and evaluate support in collaboration with a special education teacher. The fixed-term positions are located at Alhoniitty and Tyttölä daycares. To succeed in this role, you should have: Expertise in early childhood education pedagogy Ability to guide a child group in a communal manner, considering individual needs Good interaction and social skills Pedagogical leadership skills within a team and good teamwork skills Solution-oriented approach and ability to operate in challenging situations Ability to acquire, analyze, and apply information Knowledge of legislation related to early childhood education Fluent spoken and written Finnish Qualifications for early childhood education staff are determined according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) and the decree (608/2005). When filling the position, priority is given to qualified applicants. If no qualified applicants are available, we will consider students and/or those with extensive experience in early childhood education. The salary for a qualified early childhood education teacher is based on the OVTES salary system level pay (2936.07€ - 3224.79€), and the salary for a non-qualified early childhood education teacher is based on the KVTES salary system level pay (2863.46€ - 3068.48€). The selected candidate must submit a criminal record extract (Criminal Records Act 6§ 2 mom.) within 30 days of receiving the employment decision. Interviews will be held in week 24.
