Job Description
Hello to those interested in the assistant job, come join the happy team to do important and customer-oriented work in assistant services on a permanent basis! As a personal assistant, you help our clients live their own full and meaningful lives. Onni's clients are individuals who need assistance with daily tasks due to illness or disability. You assist with household chores and activities outside the home. The client assignments can vary and differ in level, and work tasks are always determined by the client's condition and individual needs for assistance. The work is diverse and may include multiple clients and tasks within the same day if desired. You do not need formal training or previous experience in the field; a positive attitude towards assisting work, willingness to learn new things, and customer-oriented approach in various situations are sufficient. All new assistants will receive comprehensive training at Onni's own Assistant Academy before starting work, and the orientation continues as needed during employment. You will receive ongoing guidance and support from your team supervisor, so you will never be alone with questions or work-related challenges; we take care of that! The work is primarily done with one client at the times requested by the client on weekdays and possibly weekends. We consider both our clients' assistance needs and our assistants' work preferences to match them as well as possible. The first shift for the client may be an orientation shift if needed, after which both the assistant and the client can evaluate the cooperation and compatibility. If later you feel something is concerning or not functioning as planned, we will address it together and find a suitable solution. If you wish, you can work for multiple clients at Onni by coordinating schedules.
