Job Description
We are looking for an outgoing outdoor enthusiast to work at a kennel located in Levin Pöntsä, near Northern Lights Village. Our husky farm was established in spring 2022 and has 160 Alaskan huskies. We need dog sledding guides and kennel workers for the upcoming season. There is also potential for permanent employment for suitable candidates. Guide duties include organizing dog sled safaris, customer service, and kennel work. We require initiative, problem-solving skills, flexibility, good social skills, adherence to shared rules, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Requirements include guide training or equivalent experience, fluent English, B driver's license, first aid training (we provide first aid training at own expense if needed), customer service skills, good physical condition, and stress tolerance. Skills in construction, experience with sled dogs, snowmobile and ATV driving skills, and local knowledge are a plus. We offer at least 90-112.5 working hours over three weeks. The work begins in autumn. Salary is negotiated during the interview. Accommodation in a shared room is available at 300€/month if needed.
