Senior Automation Specialist I - Molecular - Thermo Fisher Scientific Oy - Remote - Global

This is a fully onsite role based at our BioAnalytical in Richmond, VA. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening. The working schedule for this role is Monday - Friday from 8AM-5PM. The role involves performing program optimization and validation of complex scripts, reviewing automated instrumentation programs, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and supporting SOPs and quality systems. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years of experience, experience with automation instrumentation, programming skills (Hamilton Venus, TECAN EVOware, Fluent Control, Thermo Momentum, VB, Python), proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of GxP, SOPs, ICH, USP, and FDA guidelines. Physical work involves laboratory and clinical environment conditions, PPE use, manual dexterity, and ability to work under stress and perform multi-tasking.
