Bridge Construction Project Manager - WSP - Remote - Global

We are seeking a bridge construction project manager to strengthen our construction activities. The role involves project management responsibilities, including supervision during the implementation phase, close to the site and decision-making that impacts the final outcome. You will work at the intersection of project management and construction, with a focus on ensuring project success through planning, procurement, and supervision tasks. You will lead the overall project as a project manager, participate in project planning, tenders, and contract phases, and ensure quality, schedule, costs, and safety. You will also handle documentation and reporting, collaborate with various stakeholders, and participate in construction supervision as needed. The role emphasizes project management and execution, with supervision tasks supporting success during the implementation phase. The work involves preparing and executing contract phases, site meetings, decision-making, and monitoring progress against goals. Projects vary from repairs to complex new builds, with multiple stakeholders and strict quality and safety standards. You should have a suitable technical education (e.g., civil engineer, technician, or engineer), experience in bridge or infrastructure project management or supervision, ability to read bridge plans, and leadership skills. Fluency in Finnish is required, and English skills are a plus. A B driver's license and own car are necessary. Experience with demanding bridge projects and certifications like FISE are advantageous.
