South Savo Welfare Area Eloisa is seeking a personal assistant for a permanent position in disability services at the Personal Assistance Center, starting on June 15, 2026, or according to agreement. We are looking for a personal assistant for the Personal Assistance Center, part of our own assistance team. The duties include assisting clients of personal assistance in disability services both at home and outside, such as daily activities, hobbies, social participation, and maintaining social interactions. As a worker in our own assistance team, you will have the opportunity to do interesting independent work with team support. The position is based in Mikkeli, but we operate throughout the welfare area. We work with an inclusive and rehabilitative approach. We expect applicants to have good teamwork and communication skills, the ability to work independently, flexibility, and a proactive and positive attitude. Working hours are mainly on weekdays, but also include evening and weekend work. The position requires a valid driving license and access to a car. If the applicant does not have a previous qualification, they must commit to completing one within three years of starting the job. The qualification can be completed alongside work. Additionally, sufficient spoken and written Finnish language skills are required for the job. The employment relationship includes a six (6) month trial period. Persons working with disabled individuals must present an acceptable criminal record extract before starting work if the employment exceeds 3 months (Supervision Act 741/2023, §28).
