Nordec is a leading provider of demanding steel structure solutions in the Nordic countries and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). We aim to optimize our clients' entire value chain from design and manufacturing of steel structures to installation. Nordec has decades of experience in designing and executing versatile steel frameworks, facades, and bridges. We employ about 700 top experts across seven countries. We are looking for construction site safety supervisors (spotters) for a large project in Vaasa. The role involves ensuring safety on the construction site by monitoring machinery, vehicles, and workers, maintaining situational awareness, and communicating with drivers and site management. The job requires continuous presence, good situational awareness, and clear communication. The work is outdoors year-round. No prior construction experience is necessary, but responsibility, attentiveness, and good teamwork skills are essential. Finnish and English language skills are required, and safety and Valttikortti cards must be held or obtained before starting. The position involves shift work, including weekends, with a typical workweek of about 40 hours. The project is expected to continue until at least spring 2027, with potential for extension.
