Job Description
acks.io is a DevOps consultancy based in Katajanokka, Helsinki. We help engineering organizations ship faster and run more reliably, partnering with companies on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, platform engineering, and SRE engagements that make modern software delivery actually work. We are self-funded and profitable, and currently aiming at establishing ourselves in the Finnish market. We are hiring a high-impact SDR/BDR to build top-of-funnel pipeline across our DevOps consulting portfolio. You will work directly with our Head of Sales, owning outbound and helping grow the customer portfolio within the local market. We are a small, growing team; which means real ownership, fast feedback loops, and a real opportunity to influence the direction of the company rather than slot into an existing playbook. This role can be part-time or full-time depending on what fits you. Build and own outbound pipeline across target accounts, execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls), qualify leads and convert into high-quality meetings with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Platform, and DevOps leads, work closely with the Head of Sales & Partnerships and our senior consultants on target accounts, leverage events, partnerships, and network for pipeline (Nordic tech meetups, cloud-native community, partner ecosystems), continuously refine messaging and GTM motion based on market feedback from engineering buyers. We're a small team that moves fast, and this role is the operational backbone of our sales motion. The ideal hire is the person who: lives in the CRM; every touch logged, every follow-up scheduled, nothing dropped; has a consistent weekly cadence (prospecting blocks, follow-ups, pipeline reviews) without needing to be reminded; closes loops: replies land within a day, meetings get confirmed, notes get written up; prefers a clear process and is happy to improve it over time rather than reinventing it weekly; brings calm follow-through to a fast-moving environment. Qualifications include: 2+ years experience in SDR/BDR or early-stage sales roles; Finnish: mandatory (you will need to call and email Finnish speakers); English: mandatory (our company language is English); Swedish: strong plus (for the need to speak to Finnish-Swedish people, or for when we'll need to reach other Nordic countries); German: strong plus (we have pre-existing clients in the DACH region); background selling technical services, consulting, SaaS, or cloud/DevOps solutions is a strong advantage; comfort talking to technical audiences (engineering leaders, platform teams) and translating consulting value into business outcomes; proven ability to generate pipeline from scratch; strong communication skills and credibility with technical leaders; ability to operate in a fast-paced, growing consultancy environment; region focus on Nordics, with a current focus on Finland; mid-market to enterprise engineering organizations; multi-language outreach across the Nordic region as we expand.
