Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator - Raseborgs stad - Raasepori, Finland

Raasepori Water is responsible for water supply in its operational area within the extensive Raasepori region. We serve approximately 6,800 properties, and currently employ 22 people. We are now seeking a wastewater treatment plant operator for a permanent position. As a wastewater treatment plant operator, your key role is to ensure that wastewater treatment is carried out safely and efficiently. Your work directly impacts environmental well-being and residents' daily lives. Your primary workplace will be at the Karjaa-Pohja wastewater treatment plant, but your duties will also include maintenance and servicing of wastewater pumping stations across the municipality. You will be part of a five-person team. Your responsibilities will include: Monitoring the treatment process, Maintenance of the treatment plant and pumping stations, Maintenance and repair work, Cleaning and calibration of measuring devices. The work is diverse and requires both independent work and teamwork skills. The position includes on-call duties. We are looking for someone who: Has suitable vocational education (e.g., process, mechanical, or HVAC field), Is interested in technology and processes, Is meticulous and has good safety awareness, Is flexible, responsible, and has good cooperation skills, Holds a driving license (at least B class), Proficient in Finnish and Swedish to perform work tasks. Additionally valued: Experience in water supply, process industry, or maintenance work, Willingness to develop and participate in training, Positive attitude and ability to face new challenges.
