Fire Watcher in the Oulu Area for Temporary Work - Rekrytointipalvelu Sihti Oy - Oulu, Finland

We are looking for a vigilant and responsible fire watcher to work in factory environments in the Oulu area for our client. As a fire watcher, your task is to monitor the safe execution of hot work at the worksite and instruct workers in accordance with fire safety regulations. The work involves ensuring that hot work is carried out in compliance with current guidelines and regulations. The role requires alertness and responsibility throughout the shift, as the fire watcher plays a key role in ensuring site safety. The fire watcher works as a temporary employee, with Sihti as your employer. The work begins in July and is project-based, with shifts lasting from a few days to several weeks. The work is shift-based. Previous experience with hot work or safety tasks on construction sites is an advantage but not essential. The most important qualities are carefulness, accuracy, and responsibility, with the ability to work independently and focus. A valid safety and hot work card, as well as good Finnish language skills, are required. During work, breathalyzer and drug tests may be conducted on the factory site, which is a smoke-free environment.
