Job Description
We are seeking a licensed practical nurse for the wellbeing area of Ostrobothnia, at the Koivurinne Service Home, intervalliyksikkö Frans in Pietarsaari. The position is permanent, full-time, starting on September 1, 2026. The work involves three shifts. The intervalliyksikkö at Koivurinne Service Home provides round-the-clock shift care for elderly clients when outpatient services alone are insufficient or during the caregiver's leave. Care periods in the intervalliyksikkö last one or two weeks, regularly or at mutually agreed times. Our unit is bilingual, so proficiency in Finnish and Swedish is appreciated. In the intervalliyksikkö, work is carried out using methods that activate the clients' own functional capacity. We expect professionalism, interest, and enthusiasm to work with elderly clients as part of our multidisciplinary team. Qualifications: - A degree as a licensed practical nurse or a qualification according to the decree on health care professionals (564/1994) or the decree on social welfare professionals (153/2016). - Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of our country. - Registration with both professional registers of the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health, Terhikki and Suosikki, is required. - The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) section 48. Additionally, a criminal record extract as specified in section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act must be presented. - A trial period applies.
