Physical Activity Instructor - Puumalan kunta - Puumala, Finland

The youth and sports services of the municipality of Puumala are seeking a part-time physical activity instructor (15 hours/week) for the period from September 1, 2026, to December 20, 2026. Work hours can be scheduled flexibly, distributed over 2-4 days per week. The work includes regular evening shifts and occasional weekend shifts. The minimum qualification required for the position is a basic degree in physical activity instruction (sports instructor) or other suitable education. We also consider students in the field. The job involves guiding physical activity groups for different age groups in the gymnasium or fitness center in Puumala. It is also possible to utilize your special expertise! We value an enthusiastic and independent approach, good interaction and communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse clients. The position is subject to a one-month probationary period. The selected candidate must provide a health statement acceptable to the employer. Additionally, the candidate must present a valid criminal record extract related to working with children within 30 days of the decision, according to law 504/2002, otherwise the appointment will be nullified.
