Part-time Teacher (UE, TT), Rajakylä School - Oulun kaupunki - Oulu, Finland

A fixed-term position for a part-time teacher is available at Rajakylä School for the academic year 2026 - 2027. Teaching subjects include religion and health education, possibly with concurrent teaching in different subjects. Rajakylä School is a comprehensive school with over 600 students in northern Oulu. Our school’s culture is community-oriented, with a focus on the well-being of both staff and students. Internationality and STEAM pedagogy are prominently reflected in our activities. We are active developers of teaching and operate within diverse collaboration networks. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel 986/1998. Original degree certificates demonstrating qualifications must be presented during the interview. Experience in secondary education and experience in implementing learning support under the new law are considered an advantage. Salary is determined according to the municipal collective agreement for the education sector. Before the appointment is confirmed, the selected candidate must, within 30 days of receiving the decision, present a criminal background check issued under the Act on Background Checks of Persons Working with Children (504/2002), section 3.
