A permanent position for a licensed practical nurse at Kauhajoki Home Care. Kauhajoki Home Care employs practical nurses and nurses working together in a multidisciplinary team. The work is primarily organized in two shifts every day. Team members provide guidance and support as needed. We use a care management system, and you have the opportunity to influence your work schedule by planning your own shifts. The practical nurse works independently mainly with adult and elderly clients. The goal of home care is to enable clients to live in their own homes for as long as possible, safely, and to enjoy a fulfilling life in their own way. Home care is based on an individual care plan that considers the client’s resources and support from loved ones. Each client is assigned a personal nurse. Personal nurse responsibilities are taken into account when planning your workday. Our practice emphasizes rehabilitation-supportive nursing, promoting daily mobility, safe medication management, and overall good care for the client. We value professional competence and a desire to develop, a positive attitude towards work, good communication and collaboration skills, flexibility to adapt to changing situations, and the ability to work independently. The work mainly involves morning and evening shifts but may also include night shifts. Use of a personal car is required. The qualification requirement is a basic degree in social and health care, licensed practical nurse (qualification according to Law 559/1994 or 817/2015). The terms of employment and salary are determined according to the applicable collective agreement. A probationary period applies to the employment. The task-specific salary is €2706/month. A criminal record extract as per Law 741/2023 § 28 must be presented before starting the position. The selected candidate may be required to undergo a drug test. HYVAEP is a smoke-free workplace. The position requires vaccination against infectious diseases as per Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act and a certificate regarding tuberculosis of the respiratory tract as per Section 55.
