Job Description
The successful Process Technician candidate will ensure that equipment is functioning and operating at top efficiency and quality. This position is a technical role, with responsibilities to include equipment start-ups, monitoring / adjusting machine parameters, assisting in changeovers and handling process and equipment issues. Activities may include, but are not limited to: Run and oversee all aspects of the plastic injection molding/ extrusion process, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of machinery. Collaborate closely with line inspectors and packers to uphold product quality and meet production goals. Use precision instruments to monitor meters, gauges, temperatures, and pressures to maintain adherence to production specifications. Configure machines with precision to accommodate varying production needs and ensure optimal performance. Conduct regular tests and inspections to verify product quality according to established procedures. Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, increase efficiency, and reduce waste. Maintain accurate production records and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or deviations from process standards.
