As a personal assistant, you help our clients live their own full and meaningful lives. Onni's clients are individuals who need help with daily tasks due to illness or disability. You assist with household chores and outside activities. Client needs may vary and tasks are tailored to the client's condition and individual assistance requirements. The work is diverse and may include multiple clients and tasks within the same day. A valid driver's license and access to a personal car are required for the job. No formal training or previous experience is necessary; a positive attitude towards assistance work, willingness to learn, and customer-focused approach in various situations are sufficient. All new assistants will receive comprehensive training at Onni's own Assistant Academy before starting work, with ongoing orientation as needed. You will receive continuous guidance and support from your team supervisor, so you will never be alone with questions or work-related challenges. The work is mainly in two shifts on weekdays and weekends. Shift lengths vary from two hours upwards, and a workday may include one or more clients. You can influence your shifts and work part-time or on a gig basis—whichever suits your life situation best. We consider both the assistance needs of our clients and the preferences of our assistants to match them as well as possible. The first shift for a client is a training shift if needed, after which both the assistant and the client can evaluate the cooperation and compatibility. If later you feel something is concerning or not working as planned, we will address it together and find a suitable solution. If you wish, you can work for multiple clients by coordinating schedules.
